HOURS OF OPERATION Ryerson Woods is open daily 6:30 a.m. to sunset. This 561-acre oasis supports some of the most pristine woodlands, as well as several threatened and endangered species, in Illinois. It offers six miles of scenic trails. It’s always free to park and open year round. Admission: FREE Parking: FREE
Monday - Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Sunday 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Also available by appointment. Call 847.968.3343 or email us at info@ryersonwoods.org. TRAILS Over 6.5 miles of trails are open to hikers and, when snow is at least four inches deep, cross-country skiers. Due to the nature preserve designation, the following are NOT ALLOWED at this preserve: * Bicycles (allowed on paved roads only) * Snowmobiles * Dogs * Horses * Other pets
